Who we are
Teaching the power of education
We are a non-profit organization operating in Houston, Texas which focuses on bringing about a change in the lives of children by providing mentorship to youth between the ages of 5 & 17 years. We focus on ensuring that students realize the importance of getting a good education at an early age as well as throughout the duration of their school year(s). We also work on engaging parents at every level so that the child receives proper support at home as well.

How We Help
We target children that live in the demographics of low-income areas simply by going into such communities and presenting our mentoring & enhancement programs to both parents and children.

Our Main Goal
Our hope is to no longer lose another “at-risk” child/ren to drugs, violence or gangs, by teaching them from early age how to build self-esteem, communicate better, stand up to bullies and so much more!

Ways to contribute to Smart Scholars!
Smart Scholars Foundation is always seeking partnerships with:

local schools who will allow us to implement out mentoring programs at their schools

Sponsorships and/or donations to assist with educational materials, marketing, promotions, events, staffing, programs, resources, field trips, etc.

Vans donated to us to assist with transporting children to events and functions throughout the year.
